Penundaan Pemilihan Umum Menurut Sistem Hukum Indonesia

The postponement of the 2024 General Elections, which was initiated by certain political elites some time ago, has received a negative response from public through various protests. In fact, issue postponing election become trending topic in mass media and social because apart being considered undemocratic, it is also suspected that does not have strong legal basis, clear unreasonable reasons as condition for an election. Based on these problems, this study examines whether elections possible Indonesian system? This normative juridical research with statutory approach materials 1945 Constitution Republic Indonesia Law no. 7 2017 Elections amended Government Regulation lieu (Perpu) No. 1 2022. results indicate cannot be justified system since regulate so rolled out elite recently no Indonesia.
